Closing freezes the figures of an event that is over into a report you can read, export as CSV or print. Only the owner, administrators and teachers can close an event.
Caution
Closing is final: “The figures are frozen. Nothing can be changed afterwards.”
Steps
Open the event marked Over · to close. A window opens: This event took place on followed by the date, with the number of simulations and students.
Select Close and see the report.
If the window doesn’t appear, or if you chose Later, the event’s banner offers Close.
What you see
The report opens on Report frozen on followed by the date and your name. It gives the indicators (Students invited, Took part, Simulations, Average score, Completed a simulation, Active students, Ready students, Period played), the By scenario, as it was played detail, the Score by dimension out of 20 and, at the bottom, the Definitions in force at closure. These figures no longer change, whatever happens to the accounts or scenarios.
Export as CSV downloads a file made for Excel. It lists the indicators (Indicator, Value), then a table per scenario (Scenario, Participants, Simulations, Average score). Print opens your browser’s print dialog. Create a new event based on this one copies the scenarios still in the catalog as drafts, with no students assigned.
If the event hasn’t taken place
In the window, It has not taken place yet opens Correct the date. With a future date, the event is upcoming again and students can practice in it once more. An event with no date offers Give it a date. It will end on its own the next day.
