Event, scenario, assignment
FrançaisAn event groups interview scenarios, and each scenario is assigned to students. An individual scenario exists without an event.
Three words to remember. An event is a job dating day, with a date. A scenario is an interview to play: a target company, an offer, the student’s profile. An assignment gives a scenario to a student.
What depends on what
A scenario belongs to an event. The event is therefore the frame for all its figures: how many students are assigned, how many played, the average score.
An individual scenario has no event: it is an interview prepared for one particular student. Individual scenarios lists them: “Interviews outside any event, created for one specific student.”
A scenario starts as a Draft, which students can’t see. Publish makes it visible to those it is assigned to. Unpublish removes it from the student’s Job Dating page, even if they had already played it. Once the event is over, publication no longer changes.
The life of an event
An event is Upcoming until its date. The next day, it moves to Over on its own: no more simulations can be played in it, and its preparation is locked. It becomes Closed when a teacher, an administrator or the owner freezes its report. An event with no date doesn’t end on its own.
What this means for you
Create the event first, then its scenarios, then assign the students. In order: Create an event, Create an interview scenario, Give students access.
