What happens during the simulation
FrançaisThe briefing, the three round buttons, the pause, the “Are you still there?” window and the end of the call.
A simulation fits on one dark screen: your persona, you, and three round buttons at the bottom. This page explains what each element does. To start a simulation, see Start your first simulation.
The briefing
Before you speak, a screen sums up the session: the scenario and difficulty, Your contact, The context and Your mission. Start Simulation starts the call. When you resume a paused simulation, the button reads Resume call.
During the call
At the top are the scenario name, the timer and Connected. In the middle are two frames: the persona, and You, with a camera icon that shows or hides your picture. The conversation is not shown as text. The three round buttons at the bottom:
Pause suspends the session. Select it, then confirm Pause this training? with Pause. No analysis is generated, and you resume the session from your analyses.
Mute microphone becomes Unmute microphone when the microphone is muted.
End call, the red button, stays greyed out until the persona has replied 8 times. Hover over it to read “The analysis unlocks after 8 exchanges”. After that, End this training? and End start the analysis.
If you stop talking
After 30 seconds of silence from you, the Are you still there? window appears with a 30-second countdown. Yes, I’m here closes it. With no answer, Session paused appears: Resume restarts the call where it stopped, Leave takes you back to your analyses.
If the connection drops
Reconnecting… appears at the top: wait. Disconnected appears with Reconnect. A red banner, “Unstable connection: saving the conversation is slowed down. Keep going, we’re catching up automatically.”, needs no action.
“The audio connection could not be established. If your network filters calls (company or school network), try another one.” Switch networks, then select Retry.
“The voice service is unavailable.” Select Retry later. A refused microphone has its own page: The microphone blocks the simulation from starting.
A drop does not end the simulation: you can resume it from your analyses. The analysis is generated only if you end the simulation after 8 exchanges. A simulation left for a week without being resumed is closed with no analysis.
