Create an interview scenario

Français

Describe the company, the offer and the student’s profile, publish the scenario, then duplicate or archive it.

A scenario describes the interview the student will take. You create it in an event, then publish it so the assigned students can see it.

Steps

  1. Open the event, then select New scenario. For an interview outside an event, open Individual scenarios, then New scenario.

  2. Fill in Scenario name, Target company, Student’s program, Study year and Target diploma. Summary (optional) is the short description students see.

  3. In Job offer and interview context, describe the job, the company and what the recruiter expects, in at least 10 characters.

  4. Select Save. The scenario is created as a Draft, which students can’t see.

  5. At the top of the page, select Publish.

What you see

The scenario opens marked Draft, then Published after Publish. On the right, the Assignments section gives the interview to students: Give students access. Unpublish puts it back to draft.

Duplicate, archive, delete

Duplicate creates a copy as a draft, with no students assigned. Where to put the copy chooses the event. This is how you reuse a scenario whose event is over or closed.

A scenario that has never been played is deleted with Delete: the scenario and its assignments disappear. A scenario that has been played is archived with Archive: it leaves your lists and the students’ lists, and its simulations stay counted.

If it doesn’t work

“This scenario’s event is over: it can be read, not changed. To reuse it, duplicate it.” Select Duplicate. The same goes for a closed event.

“This scenario has already been played: it can no longer be deleted or moved to another event. Archive it or duplicate it.” Select Archive or Duplicate.
